Government Engagement Manager

DemandStar is seeking a Government Engagement Manager eager to make an impact in transforming the multi-trillion-dollar business-to-government market. Reporting to the VP of Growth, this role works directly with company leadership, marketing, customer service and product teams.

As Government Engagement Manager you’ll have a role that significantly impacts the growth of our company. You will be responsible for executing a strategy to expand the government partners using DemandStar. The role will be influential in shaping the government partner product experience, the partner lifecycle journey and giving rise to the brand.

Your Responsibilities
  • Help create, define and implement the DemandStar strategy of rapid government acquisition by identifying, acquiring and onboarding  new procurement partners across the United State to the DemandStar network.
  • Constantly review, report and suggest ongoing improvements to the procurement partner experience to create delighted, referring government procurement partners who evangelize the DemandStar brand in their communities
  • Help drive a world class product experience by constantly advocating and tirelessly reviewing product details and recommendations to our product development and marketing teams to create the next generation of DemandStar
  • Data driven approach to engagement. Build, report and track identified metrics, activities and behaviors driving growth and expansion towards company targets
  • Tirelessly champion the DemandStar brand – a little something we like to call #feetheteal
Your Qualifications
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in partner acquisition, as an account executive government procurement, or a background in outside sales in a SaaS environment
  • Experienced and comfortable working with data and a data driven approach to business growth
  • Experience with Salesforce.com, Excel and the ability to build reports and create stories with data
